With a very small budget Rendall & Wright were commissioned to revamp a small drinking pub into a restaurant/bar with garden and lounge. The brief was to create a fun, quirky space to appeal to all ages. The existing dining furniture should be reused and the bar renovated. Rachel designed new joinery, built in seating, new lounge furniture and decorations. The scheme, based on a modern take on William Morris style traditional wallpapers creates a cheeky, fun atmosphere. The bright pops of colour add life to a space which has little natural light. The new layout and repurposing of the rooms has created a building with natural flow and a greater seating capacity.
