Rendall & Wright worked closely with a local architect and building contractor to transform Latimer House, a former Victorian girls’ boarding school, into a beautiful and welcoming family home.
Lindsey carefully reconfigured the layout, bringing new life and purpose to the historic building while respecting its original character. The extensive transformation included a new roof, new staircases, a first-floor extension and a thoughtfully designed attic conversion. New bathrooms and a bespoke kitchen were introduced alongside beautifully crafted joinery and traditional flooring.
Rendall & Wright completed the transformation with a considered interior scheme throughout, designing and sourcing furniture, handmade soft furnishings and decorative finishes to create a cohesive and characterful home.
The result is a sensitive blend of Victorian architecture and contemporary family living, with the scale and history of the original building celebrated through thoughtful design and bespoke craftsmanship.
