About Us

Helen and Lindsey set up Rendall & Wright with a simple ambition: to build a business that would allow them to pursue the work they love while creating the flexibility to have children and grow their families.

Their shared passion for beautiful buildings, thoughtful design and exceptional craftsmanship has shaped the company from the very beginning. Together, they bring complementary skills and a hands-on approach to every project, working closely with clients, architects, craftsmen and trusted suppliers to create homes and spaces that are both beautiful and deeply personal.

Outside of work, Helen and Lindsey lead active lives and believe strongly in giving back to their community and profession. Both have taken on sporting challenges to raise money for charity and are passionate about encouraging the next generation of creative talent. They work with local secondary schools, sharing their experience and helping young people discover the opportunities available within the design and interiors world.

Lindsey also enjoys her work with the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID), supporting the wider profession and contributing to the development and promotion of interior design. She particularly values the opportunity to share knowledge, connect with fellow designers and help encourage emerging talent within the industry.

For Helen and Lindsey, Rendall & Wright is more than a design business. It is a reflection of their shared values – combining creativity and craftsmanship with family, community and a genuine enthusiasm for the work they do.

Lindsey Harrison

After graduating, Lindsey began her career with Designers Guild, the internationally renowned home furnishings brand, before joining Cameron Broom, a respected interior design practice based in South London. During her five years with the company, Lindsey progressed to Principal Designer and worked on an extensive range of projects, completing over 90 residential properties, five offices and three commissions for The Hurlingham Club. She also led the complete renovation of 28 Portland Place, a beautiful historic building dating from 1775.

In 2006, Lindsey joined forces with Helen Wright to establish Rendall & Wright. Her enthusiasm for design, meticulous attention to detail and natural ability to understand and connect with her clients have been central to the practice’s success, resulting in long-standing relationships, repeat business and many personal recommendations and referrals.

Lindsey was awarded full membership of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) in 2010 and joined the BIID Board of Directors in 2016 before being elected as President for 2021-2022. Lindsey is passionate about supporting the next generation of designers and has worked with universities across the UK through BIID student-focused events and shared her expertise at numerous events, including The Homes & Gardens Show, Grand Designs Live.

For Lindsey, good interior design is about finding the balance between beauty and practicality. She particularly enjoys the challenge of understanding how a space needs to work, developing clever solutions for space planning and storage, and resolving the technical and engineering aspects of a project. Her aim is always to create thoughtful, beautifully designed interiors that are personal to her clients and enhance the way they live and enjoy their homes.

Helen Wright

Helen began her career in the fashion industry, where she spent six years developing a strong understanding of creativity, design, colour and attention to detail. This experience provided a valuable foundation for her transition into interior design, where she went on to establish herself as an experienced project manager and coordinator.

Helen has worked across a diverse range of projects, from contemporary new-builds to period properties, town houses, private members’ clubs, hotels and private homes. Her experience at Cameron Broom in London further developed her project coordination skills, giving her an in-depth understanding of the practicalities involved in delivering complex, high-quality interiors.

Calm, organised and highly personable, Helen brings a considered approach to every project. She oversees the many elements involved in bringing a design to life, coordinating contractors, suppliers, makers and clients to ensure that each stage progresses smoothly and that the smallest details are carefully managed.

Her ability to balance the practical and technical demands of a project with a warm and personal approach creates a reassuring experience for clients. From the initial design through to procurement, installation and completion, Helen ensures that the process is thoughtfully coordinated, allowing the finished interior to be delivered with the care, quality and attention to detail for which Rendall & Wright are known.

Rachel Morley

Rachel studied Art & Design at West Suffolk College and De Montfort University in Leicester before moving to London to begin her career with Terence Conran’s Architecture & Interior Design Company, based in Shad Thames.

During her time with the Conran Group, Rachel worked on a prestigious portfolio of commercial projects, with a particular focus on the design of bars and restaurants across London, as well as projects in Paris and Stockholm. Working within such a renowned design environment gave her invaluable experience of creating distinctive, considered interiors within a fast-paced and highly creative setting.

After ten years in London, Rachel returned to Suffolk and joined the established family firm Clement Jocelyn, where she developed her expertise in a different area of the industry. Here, she worked extensively with bespoke soft furnishings and built strong relationships with skilled local craftspeople, including curtain makers, upholsterers and joiners. This experience gave Rachel a valuable understanding of the craftsmanship and attention to detail involved in creating truly bespoke interiors.

Rachel joined Rendall & Wright in 2018, bringing with her a wealth of experience across both commercial and residential design, together with her knowledge of bespoke furnishings and specialist craftsmanship. Her creative eye, practical understanding and appreciation of detail complement the wider team and contribute to the thoughtful, individual approach that is at the heart of every Rendall & Wright project.
