Our clients are at the heart of our design approach. We begin by understanding their individual brief, lifestyle and aspirations, while considering the full potential of the property, its architecture and its surroundings.
Initial site visit
Our initial visit gives us the opportunity to meet with you and talk through your project in detail. Visiting the property allows us to understand the existing layout, architecture and character, while gaining a genuine feel for the space and how you would like it to evolve.
Fee proposal
Following our initial meeting, we will prepare a tailored fee proposal based on our discussions and the scope of your project. Once approved, we can begin developing the initial concept, translating our conversations and your aspirations into a considered design direction for your home.
Concept
The concept stage allows us to explore how the spaces will look, feel and function as a whole. This process ensures we have understood the brief and are reflecting our clients vision and practical requirements.
Design Development
Following approval of our design concept, we progress into the detailed design stage, where the scheme is fully developed and every element is carefully considered and coordinated.
This includes finalising spatial layouts, materials, finishes, fixtures and fittings, alongside the selection and specification of furniture, lighting and bespoke joinery. Detailed proposals and estimates are prepared for furniture, lighting and soft furnishings. A comprehensive design package is produced, giving the client and their appointed build team the information required to implement the design.
Project Coordination
Our project coordination service runs alongside the construction phase, providing continuity between the design and its implementation. We act as an informed point of contact throughout the build, ensuring that the design intent is understood and carefully executed by the appointed contractors and trades.
With in-depth knowledge of the overall scheme, we can support our clients and the build team in making informed decisions, resolving queries and addressing any challenges that arise during construction. Regular site visits can be arranged throughout the build, allowing us to monitor progress, review key details and ensure the finished result remains true to the approved design.
This service provides our clients with reassurance and continuity from the initial design through to completion.
Procurement/Installation
We can manage the procurement and logistics relating to all items included within our estimates. By overseeing each stage of the process, we ensure that items arrive at the right time, are checked and installed to the required standard, and are carefully coordinated with the wider project programme. This hands-on approach provides continuity and reassurance, helping the project run smoothly and ensuring that the finished interiors reflect the design in every detail and are executed to the highest standards.

“Rendall & Wright did a fantastic job on our new home, tailoring the design package to suit our budget. Lindsey was quick to grasp our style and requirements, and they went above and beyond in advising and guiding every step of the way. Love the fabrics and the curtains are beautifully made. Highly recommended!”

“I was introduced to Lindsey just at the point plans for my new house were complete but not ‘signed off’ for construction – happily Lindsey quickly noted weaknesses in the layout and introduced significant changes which have made a real contribution to both amenity and aesthetic appeal: important construction details were also highlighted to ensure design excellence.”
Richard, Bures Suffolk
